From the 20 to the 24 of May, Barcelona will participate in the design week in New York, NYCxDesign, held from May 3 to 24. The exhibition, promoted by the Barcelona City Council and organized by BCD Barcelona Center de Disseny, will have the participation of a delegation of 13 companies and aims to enhance the image of the city's design and offer visibility to the business fabric of the sector.
Under the name 'Inspired in Barcelona: Lifestyle' there will be two exhibitions featuring 13 brands from the habitat sector that are inspired by the values, excellence and lifestyle of Barcelona: BD Barcelona Design, Bloomint Design, Carpyen, Estiluz , Hidraulik, Livingthings, Mik Max, Mobles 114, Nutcreatives, Persiana Barcelona, Pichiglas Studio, Toru and Tothora.
A total of 21 products will be the protagonists of this week in two important fairs: WantedDesign Manhattan, from May 20 to 23, and International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) from May 21 to 24.

The Deputy Mayor for Business, Culture and Innovation, Jaume Collboni, participated at the beginning of May in a networking table with representatives of the Catalan design companies that will participate in the NYCxDESIGN on behalf of Barcelona. The event was attended by the directors and managers of the companies Nucreatives, Tothora, Hidraulik, Persiana Barcelona, Mik Mak, Livingthings, Bloomint Design, Carpyen, BD Barcelona Design, Mobles 114, Toru, Pichiglas, as well as the president of the Executive Committee of BCD, Pau Herrera, and the general director, Isabel Roig.
