The Manlleu City Council and the companies Bon Preu, Casa Terradellas, Girbau, Fundació La Granja Group, Quadpack and Seidor convene the 7th edition of the Innovacat Awards, with the aim of stimulating the business sector of the territory in the face of the challenges of a global world. The Awards want to once again be a financial and promotional instrument for new business projects in the Osona region.
In the presentation ceremony, held at the Technotraf-Quadpack headquarters, the following participated: Eudald Sellarès, Councilor for Economic Promotion of the Manlleu City Council; Manel Prat, head of communication and marketing at Bon Preu; Miquelina Saborit, head of communication at Casa Terradellas; Jordi Aulí, Girbau's director of operations; Oriol Guixà, president and CEO of La Farga; Eduard Farga, deputy general director of Seidor; and Tim Eaves, CEO of Quadpack, who stated: "These awards spark inspiration, allowing us to break down barriers." Tim Eaves also stated that "having dreams and having confidence" is key. Categories and awards. There are two awards: Young Company Award - award for innovative company with up to 5 years of activity with an economic endowment of € 12.000 + Innovacat Trip. Avanza Company Award - award to the company with more than 5 years of activity that stands out for its trajectory and ability to adapt to changes, with a prize of € 20.000 + Innovacat Trip.
The Innovacat Trip is a business trip to see first-hand the trends in the sector, incorporate new ideas to innovate, encourage cooperation and expand the vision of the company. It is valued at a maximum amount of € 5.000. Training is offered to improve the public presentation of projects to participating companies, as well as subsequent training, to which is added, in this edition, a session / workshop on how to write a business report in an attractive way. On April 30, 2018, the deadline to present ends. The public presentation of the projects of this edition of the Innovacat Awards will be on June 7, 2018.
