The luxury perfume company BYREDO has entrusted to FaiveleyTech the creation of the cap for its new fragrance: Mojave Ghost Absolu de Parfum. The piece, made with biocomposite material sulapac, combines a bold sensory aesthetic with a reduced environmental impact.

FaiveleyTech's Beauty Unit, in close collaboration with its partner Sulapac, took up the challenge posed by the creators of BYREDO. To Mojave Ghost Absolute de Parfum, BYREDO chose a plug which mimics the visual and textural effects of Japanese burnt wood, in perfect harmony with the raw and authentic character of the fragrance composition. BYREDO selected a biocomposite material formulated by Sulapac to reduce the use of fossil raw materials and lower its carbon footprint.

The raw and aged wood texture was developed specifically for this project, making it an exclusive creation. It combines intricate engraving on machining with a masterful injection moulding process. The stopper and its magnetic components are assembled on a fully automated line, allowing for a magnetic fit to the bottle.

“FaiveleyTech is proud of this new creation exclusively for BYREDO. The teams have presented a bold and original project, evoking the craftsmanship and nature that inspire us. Our processes were pushed to the limit with great energy and the result, both in the fragrance and in the packaging, highlights the brand’s original signature,” he said. Beryl Tomaschett, sales director at FaiveleyTech Orgelet.

FaiveleyTech regularly collaborates with Sulapac to provide its beauty and luxury customers with eco-friendly biomaterial solutions that meet their high functional and aesthetic standards for premium packaging.
