The new Clarins Total Eye LiftAn improved version of their best-selling eye cream now comes in a refillable container, thanks to their partnership with Aptar Beauty.
This is the airless packaging patented by Aptar Beauty, GaiaThe device consists of a main metal casing and plastic refills, which are highly recyclable in the PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene) streams. The refills feature an integrated bi-injected collar seal for a secure connection to the main casing with minimal air ingress. The refills are sold separately and are designed for use exclusively with the matching case.
This innovative system is protected by two Aptar patentsAn intuitive push-pull refill mechanism, inspired by a pen, and a double-seal safety system, located on the refill, that ensures the formula is airtight and prevents back-contamination. The first seal peels off the refill, and the second opens when it is inserted into the main case.
Total Eye Lift comes in a 15ml format, in a custom-designed red metallic container developed exclusively for Clarins.
, It claims to have reduced its environmental impact by 73% thanks to this new eco-designed refillable container. Buying a new recyclable container represents 50% less metal, 33% less plastic, and 29% less cardboard compared to the previous Total Eye Lift container.
