Pack Expo Chicago 2024 has established itself as an essential event for the presentation of technological innovations in the packaging sector. Visitors to the stands of the partners of Barcelona Packaging Hub have had the opportunity to see, test and learn first-hand about the most advanced solutions to optimize production and promote sustainability in packaging.
The trade fair, which took place from 3 to 6 November, brought together experts from around the world and provided a unique platform to learn about emerging trends in packaging machinery.
They highlighted the innovations presented by key companies such as INVpack, Effytec, Volpak, Mengibar, Movitec, Posimat, UBS and Xolertic:
● INVpack: presented its SP6 machine, specialized in single-dose vertical packaging in stick pack format, ideal for various liquid and semi-liquid products.
● Effytec: showcased its innovative solution for creating 100% recyclable spout bags, contributing to packaging sustainability.
● Volpak: exhibited its F-17 DX machine, which optimizes flat pouch packaging and offers compatibility with recyclable materials, ideal for the pharmaceutical and personal care sectors.
● Mengibar: presented its filling and capping equipment with high precision and a focus on sustainability, aimed at improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
● Movitec: showed its end-of-line solutions, in collaboration with EAM Mosca, optimizing efficiency in industrial packaging
● Posimat: presented its advanced solutions for handling empty plastic bottles and caps, designed to improve efficiency in bottling lines.
● UBS: exhibited its automatic printing and labeling technology, which optimizes traceability and productivity in production lines.
● Xolertic: showed its automation solutions for the final stage of production lines, improving the reliability and profitability of operations.
Throughout the event, Barcelona Packaging Hub demonstrated its commitment to technological innovation, sustainability and efficiency in packaging processes, presenting solutions ranging from the design and manufacture of machinery to the implementation of automated systems.
