With your extensive experience, what is consumer perception of perfume and cosmetics samples?

Today, this function remains the essence of every sampling campaign; not in vain, studies show that samples continue to be the most highly valued promotional element by consumers. But it's also true that today's consumers look for much more in a sample. Many of the projects we produce at Sampling Innovations are designed to create an experience that draws you into the brand's universe. In your opinion, what are the main trends from the sampling point of view?
Sustainability, personalization, and digitalization are undoubtedly the most notable macrotrends in the beauty world, and of course, in the field of sampling for this sector. At Sampling Innovations, we've identified this trend as a key opportunity to maximize the effectiveness of our campaigns. That's why we developed Smart Sampling, a platform that offers brands the opportunity to achieve greater interaction and engagement with their consumers. It's also a powerful direct communication tool for target audiences and also allows them to redirect to their website if they so choose, boosting cross-selling and offering beauty tips.

What proposals does Sampling Innovations Europe offer to the perfume and cosmetics sector?
At Sampling Innovations Europe, we have developed several innovative solutions that help reduce the environmental impact of the perfume and cosmetics sector without compromising sample quality or the consumer experience.
One solution is the Thermoformed Pearl, an innovative format that stands out for its low environmental impact and its teardrop-shaped eco-design. We're talking less than 1 gram of RPET. Another of our sustainable offerings is scent labels. This range of products developed by Adhespack, a company for which we are exclusive distributors in several markets, is one of the most sustainable ways to offer perfume samples at the point of sale and incorporates a sample dispenser like the Scent Ticket®. This innovative dispenser allows the consumer to easily remove a fragrance-impregnated holder. It's an innovative alternative to traditional mouillettes or scent strips.
The samples we offer are also fully recyclable, as they are made on a patented support developed by Suzano and Adhespack. These are Scent Paper Based samples; they are made from 95% paper and are therefore completely recyclable.
What have been the company's most notable innovations in sample packaging?
At our company, we're always looking for new ways to optimize the sample packaging process to adapt to our customers' needs and market trends. In our packaging plant, we're increasingly incorporating advanced filling machines for different formats and capable of working with sustainable materials, allowing us to offer a wider variety of solutions.
To name a few, in the last year we have added the capacity to fill tubes, jars, and droppers to our portfolio, giving us the flexibility to serve a wide range of cosmetic and perfume products.
Also worth highlighting is our full service. Our commitment to our brands and our in-house manufacturing allow us to offer an integrated service. A 360-degree service that extends from design to filling, making our clients' work easier while simultaneously monitoring quality throughout the entire process and, ultimately, the final quality of our samples.
¿What are the main objectives of Sampling Innovations Europe for 2026?
In 2026, one of our main objectives is to continue developing innovative solutions that improve the consumer experience, as well as offering our clients strategies that allow them to assess the profitability they can obtain from sampling campaigns. We believe that offering consumers the opportunity to try a product multiple times gives them a better opportunity to evaluate its features and make a more informed purchasing decision. This extended experience not only benefits the consumer but also allows brands to offer a trial format at a lower cost, generating a higher return. This type of initial sample can also be transformed into an accessible sales format. Following this philosophy, we have launched the Multi-Use Sachet with a cap. A novel concept that allows the user to enjoy the sample in multiple applications, prolonging the experience and maximizing the perceived value. Our Discovery Sets are another example of innovative formats for a better trial experience.
