Packaging Night 2025 recognizes excellence in the packaging sector

El Packaging Cluster celebrated a new edition of the Packaging Night 2025, the annual event that brings together the business community of the packaging sector in Catalonia and which this year took place last Wednesday at the Moritz Factory in Barcelona.

The meeting, which has become a key event on the calendar, brought together more than one hundred attendees, including representatives from member companies, institutions, technology centers, and innovation stakeholders. The event served to recognize talent, collaboration, and digitalization within the Catalan packaging ecosystem, and also to strengthen synergies among Cluster members and share the challenges and opportunities facing the sector in a context of change.

During the gala, the Cluster awarded three prizes: to the company Salaet, which has won the award for best business strategy project, to the company Tpl (Transparente Papel Ltd.) for its track record and commitment to industrial innovation, already a Platform for Traceability and Management of Packagingwhich has been recognized as the best joint project in digitalization. The project aims to improve materials management and ensure efficient and transparent tracking of packaging flows throughout the entire value chain.

During the evening, the president of the Packaging Cluster, Martina FountainFont addressed the attendees, conveying a message of optimism about the sector's current strength, noting that 80% of member companies anticipate economic growth. He further emphasized that packaging is a strategic sector for the country's economic development and that Catalonia's industrial base must be strengthened to generate stable, competitive, and skilled employment.

With this new edition of Packaging Night, the Packaging Cluster reaffirms its commitment to collaborative innovation and the generation of projects that boost the competitiveness of companies in the sector.

The Packaging Night was sponsored by Hinojosa, Grupo Cooperativo TEB, Bobst, Fakolith, Saica, Faca Packaging and received institutional support from Hispack (Barcelona Fair) and ACCIÓN of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
