Trash Union

Trash Union, has announced that, through its parent company, it is entering into the capital of Ondutec, a company specialized in the manufacture of cardboard boxesWith this transaction, UP significantly strengthens its industrial packaging business and expands the base of its operations, entering fully into production.

The acquisition of Ondutec allows Unión Papelera to take a very important leap in the development of its packaging business, a strategic business for the company, while strengthening its position in the market, enriching its portfolio of products and services and acquiring a better knowledge of the cardboard box market, both for industrial packaging and for catering and other sectors where Ondutec has managed to consolidate itself over the years.

This operation strengthens UP's position in the Spanish market and Ondutec's experience will allow it to expand its production activity to other regions. The collaboration between the two companies will allow both to offer a better service to their clients and a wider range of products under more competitive conditions. This alliance will also result in a greater capacity to develop solutions tailored to the needs of their clients.

The Ondutec factory is located in Guadalajara and has a magnificent industrial base that, with the proper investment and support, has great growth potential.

“With this operation we want to reinforce our commitment to our clients and show that we are strongly committed to the packaging sector, with the aim of positioning ourselves in this sector. This is a bold commitment that will undoubtedly bring benefits to everyone, to the employees of both companies, to the clients, and even to the suppliers and creditors, to whom we show an unequivocal commitment to the future of both companies,” he says. Alexander Ramos, general manager of Union Papelera.

For its part, Pedro López CEO of Ondutec, comments that “at Ondutec we have been offering a first-class service to our clients for years, but we needed a partner that could help us take the next step in our development and growth forecasts, and with UP we have found the perfect support. The collaboration between both companies allows us to exploit synergies that we would not have been able to take advantage of alone. We are very excited about the project and we are sure that in the near future we will see a great evolution in Ondutec. We owe it to our clients and with the collaboration with UP we will be able to serve them better.”
