Paris Packaging Week brings together packaging innovation and attracts more than 14.000 visitors

Paris Packaging WeekThe event, held in Hall 1 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on February 5 and 6, welcomed 14.442 unique visitors, representing a 15% increase over the previous edition. The event brought together decision-makers, brands, designers, and suppliers from the beauty, luxury, premium beverage, and aerosol sectors; a total of 20.462 participants, with 915 exhibitors, 213 speakers, and professionals from 87 countries, confirming its international reach.

Pentawards Festival It offered the best of international packaging design, with the exhibition of the Top 100 award-winning packs and presentations by Lego Group, Google, Diageo, Samsung Electronics and Aktiva.

With 58 hours of conferences, the Paris Packaging Week 2026 featured speakers such as Kelly Massol, founder and CEO of Secrets de Loly; Vitalie Taittinger, de Champagne taittinger; Killian Hennessy de Kilian y Jacques Playe de L'Oréal.

The fair hosted the Emballé 5.0 Competition, in conjunction with the National Packaging Council, which brought together 40 projects, and the ESEPAC Résonances Competition, which awarded the Taille ta crème project. Participants also discovered, First shown at the show, the second edition of the Perspectives 2026 trend notebook, titled Cool & Conscious.

Finally, the delivery of the Innovation AwardsThe event, held on February 4th at the Pavillon Vendôme, brought together more than 320 professionals and awarded 34 innovations in the PCD, ADF, PLD and Packaging Première sectors (More information in another post).

Some of the innovations we've seen:

-PALC by AptarA generous mist compatible with shine solutions, with wide diffusion. “There is a huge trend towards body mist,” stated Delphine Bony, Marketing Manager Beauty EMEA Aptar Beauty.

-Ella by Aptar, new aerosol ideal for hair foams, with a small slit to facilitate application and an applicator with less plastic.

-NeoDropper by AptarIt offers formula protection, precise dosing, and a high restitution rate. It prevents direct contact with the applicator, thus avoiding back-contamination and spills. Furthermore, its shorter applicator allows for controlled formula flow, and a gentle twist after opening automatically refills the dropper for precise application.

-Marc Prieur, president of Aptar BeautyThe "custom corner" proposal stood out, in line with a market that seeks to differentiate itself from the standard; the trend is towards personalization, with more agility.

-Bormioli Luigi She showcased her glass makeup collection with SwingA glass lipstick, refillable, recyclable and fully customizable.

-coverpla presents EmeraldNamed in honor of a wedding anniversary, this product stems from the more than 40-year-long collaboration between Groupe Pochet and Coverpla. Available in a 50ml format, its "originality is key," they emphasize. .

-Silgan Dispensing expands the dispensing system ERA to airless packaging and expands its range of tubes.Sabelle Lallemant, Global Marketing Director BeautyHe highlighted that ERA “is a single-material and flexible solution, which brings simplicity,” as it adapts to all types of packaging.

-Aspire Chroma by Silgan Dispensing It is the new evolution of the Aspire fragrance pump platform, designed to combine customizable color, performance, and added value for the lifestyle market. “It allows for a smooth and precise gesture, a fine mist, providing a high-quality, lifestyle experience,” he stated. -GEKA presented its latest beauty collection, Glow Between Momentswhich includes five specific applicators for lips and face, developed for blush, lipsticks and concealers.

-In addition to Serenity Tube and Freedom Dropper, quad pack he presented PP Panstick Line, a rechargeable stick; BeautyWood 2026, a collection of wooden packaging concepts with tactile finishes; and Lotus Pod, a patented cool-touch applicator to complement your Skin-Up Bottle.

-cosmogene lanza Powder PackThe first patented airtight powder container, made from recyclable polypropylene and designed for rehydratable powder formulas. Its push-button dispensing system provides a single dose, and the container is refillable.

- Berlin Packaging Beauty presents xocoXoco is a solution obtained through the upcycling of hazelnut shell waste into a PP-based compound, ideal for precision-molded components used in the beauty sector. Xoco was born from a collaboration with Krill Design, an Italian SME pioneering sustainable materials.
