FOR Red, TNT Group has created a luxury cardboard lift box, wrapped in textured paper and adorned with discreet hot-stamping on the outside.
The ingenious magnetic-free mechanical closure system features a plate that fits perfectly into a slot. Both the slot and the plate are covered with gold foil.
Seven references of personalised plates are delivered separately and are fitted in the brand's packaging workshops, ensuring agile and responsible stock management. For greater efficiency, the wedges for the 100ml and 50ml formats planned for this set will also be supplied separately in the near future.
“Brands are looking for high-end, eco-designed boxes, made from a single material – usually paper and cardboard, including the wedges – and with an effective non-magnetic closure system that is in line with the luxury and wonder expected upon opening them. The key is to design the box in such a way that it can be adapted to multiple references by delivering separate components, thus improving agility in the supply chain. In addition, depending on the market, it must comply with regulations on the container/content ratio to minimise the carbon footprint. This subtle equation is perfectly illustrated by the Red box, a product of our initial collaboration,” says Virginie Pellé, Director of the Secondary Packaging Division.
