La Barcelona Design Week 2025 blows out the candles of his 20th edition. Born in 2006 and organized by the Barcelona Creativity & Design Foundation, the BDW aims to bring creativity closer to citizens and all economic sectors, mobilizing industry to showcase Barcelona's vitality.
This year's motto, Creative Resilience, is based on a duality: a scaffolding that symbolizes what we are building, and a diffuse, dreamlike atmosphere that opens the door to multiple possible futures. This combination understands creativity as a force capable of responding to uncertainty with vision and transformative capacity.
The BDW wants to offer “inspiration, community and future” through more than 130 activities —exhibitions, routes, talks and installations— throughout the city.
