B Corp certification

El Bonduelle Group has obtained the B Corp international certification in all its operations worldwide.

This certification, initiated in 2018, is at the heart of the company's transformation plan, "Transform to Win," which places sustainability at the center of its business model. B Corp certification evaluates companies based on five fundamental pillars: governance, employees, communities, customers, and the environment.

“More than just recognition, B Corp is a demanding process of continuous improvement that reinforces our transparency and the consistency of our commitments to our stakeholders. It is a daily commitment to becoming a better company for the world. By integrating this approach into all our activities, we build a more responsible and resilient business model, guided by the management of our impacts.” said Xavier Unkovic, CEO of the Bonduelle Group.

For Bonduelle, being a B Corp™ also means: 11.000 chefs trained in plant-based cuisine in 3 years; 98% of products with a Nutri-Score of A or B; 59% of its farmers practice regenerative agriculture, and this is expected to reach 80% by 2030; 73% of irrigated cultivated land equipped with irrigation limitation systems, reaching 90% by 2030; 100% of its centers involved in local impact initiatives and an employee engagement rate of 71%.

“B Corp™ has created a unique dynamic at Bonduelle. It has allowed us to systematically improve our social, environmental, and governance practices, strengthen our transparency, and contribute to the relevance of our offerings and brands. Integrating this standard into our daily operations gives meaning to our mission and allows everyone in the organization to contribute to more sustainable food.”, Said Céline Barral, Director of Strategy, Brands and Impact.
