UPM Adhesive Materials presents the new range UPM ProCycle de labeling solutions compatible with recycling, which integrates advanced adhesive technologies and circular products into a coherent offering.

The labeling materials currently included in the range are suitable for rigid PET and HDPE containers in beverage, food, and household and personal care applications. Adhesive technologies, such as the wash system, ensure clean separation of materials during mechanical plastic recycling, including washing and shredding, contributing to the production of high-quality recycled material.

UPM ProCycle solutions are designed to deliver consistent adhesion, efficient converting, and high-quality printing on plastic, fiber, and glass packaging. All products in the portfolio are externally recognized as recyclable* across various packaging types and markets, and independent testing ensures specific label functionalities, such as clean release.

“As packaging recyclability requirements and regulations evolve, UPM ProCycle helps converters and brands adapt to changes and comply with regulations. Thanks to UPM’s expertise in adhesives and sustainability, the portfolio makes it easier to select labeling solutions that ensure optimal recyclability performance,” he says. Suvi Rasa, Manager of Circularity and Sustainable Product Design at UPM Adhesive Materials.

The portfolio will continue to expand with new adhesive technologies and labeling products.
