One more year, Veralia launches the 12th edition of its Design and Creation Competition, titled "Good things come in small glass containers." It invites students from Spanish and Portuguese schools to develop projects with a creative and innovative approach, giving them a work experience as close as possible to a professional environment. It also offers the winning designs the chance to subsequently be produced and marketed by a Verallia client.
The theme chosen for the 2025 edition is influenced by new consumer trends. They demonstrate that society is moving toward a sustainable and ethical future that prioritizes physical and mental well-being, with an increase in the consumption of low-alcohol beverages. Furthermore, people's demands have increased, and they now seek unique experiences and products tailored to their individual preferences, both aesthetically and sensorially.
The functionality, convenience, and adaptability of small or single-serve formats has won over consumers. Therefore, in this competition, the idea is to create a small-format glass container, exploring new sustainable and distinctive packaging solutions for the following Verallia markets: spirits, juices, soft drinks, oils, and wines (still and sparkling).
Contestants can submit their proposals until June 6th and are eligible for one of four prizes: €2.500 (first prize), €1.300 (second prize), €900 (third prize), and €300 (Social Media Prize).
