For his new masculine proposal, Acqua di Giò Elixir, Armani entrusted to Bormioli Luigi the mission of creating its new bottle with a decoration that evokes the unique depth of obsidian. The fragrance, created by Alberto Morillas, is the most concentrated in the collection, designed to represent the modern man and extreme sophistication.
In its creative approach, the brand sought a powerful and sophisticated bottle that evoked maximum depth. Bormioli Luigi created a restrained silhouette with a square base reminiscent of a slightly rounded shape, drawing the eye into the depth of the material. The silver logo fits perfectly and is very discreet. Bormioli had to find the exact dosage of material to create the perfect balance and geometry between the thickness of the base and the lightness of the rest of the bottle. The precision and technical craftsmanship required for this task represented a significant challenge.
The intense black hue is achieved using Inside lacquer, Bormioli's signature decorative technique. It's reminiscent of a rare stone called obsidian, which evokes hidden luxury and wards off negative energies. The choice of the Inside technique and the black hue was based on numerous compatibility tests between the lacquer and the highly concentrated liquid. The black and silver silkscreen decoration reflects light.
