A fragrance with alcohol made with 100% recycled carbon emissions

15, May, 2023

Where My Heart Beats is the first fragrance by Gucci with alcohol made with 100% recycled carbon emissions. This more sustainable alcohol manufacturing process contributes significantly to the reduction of agricultural land and water consumption compared to traditional production methods.

Coty has joined forces with LanzaTech, a leading provider of carbon recycling technology, to incorporate its CarbonSmart™ alcohol into their fragrances. This innovative approach captures carbon from industrial emissions and turns it into alcohol, marking a significant step towards sustainability. Coty and LanzaTech's partnership began in March 2021 with production starting in January 2022.

As part of a customizable collection, The Alchemist's Garden scents are designed to blend, change and intensify their character when mixed.
