The German luxury fashion brand MCM (under license with InterParfums USA), has trusted VPI for its new unisex perfume. VPI (Faiveley Plast Beauty) took on the challenge of conceiving and developing a plug with a unique design, inspired by the Stark bag, one of MCM's most iconic leather goods.
For this specific project, VPI made a spray through the cap with another exterior in two pieces (push button and cover) plated in gold, plus an interior part and a handle. The interior has a spring function (without metal), which allows the push button to always return to its original position, well aligned with the edge of the cap.
The VPI team worked on engraving and combining raw materials to come up with a leather-like handle, molded from a flexible material. A development that leads to mounting on the cap with permanent fastening and allows the end customer to lift the bottle by its handle.
The same cap is assembled in 3 sizes: 30 ml - 50 ml - 75 ml.
