ASPACK will hold its next Congress from October 20 to 23 this year in Lisbon (Portugal).

Under the motto "Let the light in", this edition of the reference congress of the carton industry has focused on helping light enter the companies of the association and the people who work in it to help the packaging illuminate the customer's sense of the product, to open up to the new ideas of the new generations, to apply concepts of sustainability, so that gender equality is normal and integrates the feminine vision in companies and so that they are more humane and aware.

The congress will take place at the Myriad by Sana hotel in Lisbon, overlooking the Tagus River. During these three days, ASPACK has organized an interesting program. At the opening of the congress he will intervene with the president of ASPACK, Jose Ramon Benito and the president of APIGRAF Portugal, Jose M Lopes de Castro. They will also participate Anselmo Vilardebo of Iberian Silk and Josep Maria Berga from Alzamora Cartón Packaging, who will offer their personal vision of the Spanish and Portuguese cardboard packaging market within the panel of collaborative experiences. The day will end with a presentation on the situation of the cardboard packaging manufacturing sector at a European level and future trends based on the economic situation that is currently affecting our industry., in charge of mike turner, Managing Director of ECMA – European Carton Makers Association.

During the day on Friday, a very dynamic program has been composed. will be present on friday Ignacio Pérez-Andújar Mosque, Deputy Director General of Foreign Investments, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, who will present a global view of the economy, followed by a round table made up of Sabrina Alfonso by Karbest, Patricia Berga and Ferran Berga of Alzamora Cartón Packaging, and Maria Carmen Cerda Beyco Graphics.

ASPACK will also invite the Salesian Foundation Home School of Vigo presenting the focus group study on the perception of the carton pack among future consumers. nuria casal, vocational teacher of Graphic Arts at Colegio Hogar Afundación Salesianos de Vigo will present "The Graphic Kitchen: training, technique and imagination", which will explain what is being done from schools to bring new talent to the sector.

Valerie Guillotte of Koloko International will give a talk on «Let the light in, let's be more open to respond to the current challenges of companies. Towards an integral management”, before the workshop that they are going to prepare Dominic Duarte, Founder and Gestalt Consultant, and Mar Duran, Gestalt Consultant of Dominique Duarte Internationl Training, on "Leading a company in times of risk: providing solutions to the social and environmental crisis of our time".

Friday's session will end with a presentation by William Valles. President of RECIPAP Spain and CEO of Saica Natur, who will talk about the new challenges of the sector in the face of the new European and Spanish environmental legislation derived from the 2030 Agenda.

It will also be held General Assembly, where all the projects that the association has under way will be openly commented and in an open and participatory way a document will be worked on that will serve as the basis for the development of the new strategic plan of the association.

Time and space have been left for networking during the Congress with a special day on Saturday morning through which, and in a team format in which all attendees will participate, they will learn to work as a team and relate and get to know each other better. in a spontaneous and fun way.

For the companions, another social activity has been organized on Friday and they will have the pleasure of having a different view of Lisbon from the Tagus River on a boat tour and will go to eat in one of the most emblematic buildings in Lisbon, Espaço Espelho Dàgua.
