Taghleef Industries has reached an agreement to acquire Derprosa Film from the 3i Group, Baring and other minority shareholders. The transaction, which has been approved by the Boards of Directors of Taghleef Industries and Derprosa Film, is subject to customary completion conditions and is expected to close at the end of April 2014.
Derprosa's activity has been reinforced by a new management team during the last years of the 3i Group shareholding period, Baring Private Equity and other minority shareholders. This team has successfully restructured the business and provided the Company with a focus on international expansion and the development of high-value-added, high-margin products. Today, Derprosa Film is the world leader in special films for graphic arts applications in luxury packaging and one of the main film suppliers in the flexible packaging market in Spain.
