Albéa and Colgate launch the first tube of recyclable toothpaste

Colgate has just launched in Europe the toothpaste "Smile for Good" in a tube made with HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), a polymer that is widely used for milk cartons and other plastic bottles and is massively recycled. Albéa has manufactured the tube.
The Colgate tube is the first to be recognized as recyclable by the APR (Association of Plastic Recyclers) and RecyClass (an initiative that works to improve the recyclability of packaging), which sets recyclability standards for North America and Europe, respectively.
