Albéa and Erpro Group, a member of the Carbon Production Network, have teamed up to create a limited edition solid perfume.
To create a luxurious-looking decorative badge on top of the perfume container for its customers, Albéa needed a precise machine and durable materials. Erpro, which has six years of experience with the Carbon platform, recommended the Carbon Digital Light Synthesis™ printing process. With this platform, Albéa was able to produce precise parts with a high-quality surface finish.
Carbon's EPX 82 was chosen to produce the decorative badge because it demonstrates excellent long-term chemical resistance and is functionally strong, ensuring the piece will not break or get scratched if a user drops the product.
The shell badge design started with a black and white 2D logo, but then Erpro and Albéa brought the logo to life, optimizing printability and production with each iteration of the design.
