November 19th 2025

All4Labels

The company All4Labels, through its subsidiary Egara Reliefs, has started the STAR DIRECT™ project, an innovative direct-to-packaging printing technology that eliminates the need for adhesive labelsThe project has been selected to receive a grant within the 2024 program of Aid for projects promoting the circular economy, promoted by the Waste Agency of Catalonia (ARC).

STAR DIRECT™ represents a disruptive solution in the packaging sector, with a strong positive environmental impact. The technology significantly reduces waste generation and improves packaging recyclability. Initial life cycle studies show a 28% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to conventional labels.

The project, which will run from 2025 to 2027, involves collaboration with several key stakeholders and includes pilot testing, customer validation, and preparation for commercial launch. The technology is already market-ready and is currently being refined to optimize print quality, improve printing components with partners, and expand compatibility with different substrates.
