Alzamora Group installs two new high-tech machines in Spain

Photo: Heidelberg printer. Alzamora Group incorporates two new machines at Alzamora Packaging, its main headquarters in Spain. On the one hand, the Heidelberg XL 106 printer, the second at the national level with a complete equipment, and on the other, the die cutter BOBST Visioncut 106 LER. Both acquisitions have already been installed and are operating normally since April.

With these two new machines, Alzamora Group has notably improved its level of quality and productivity, optimizing its delivery time and being much more efficient in the supply chain.

Josep M. Berga, general and commercial director of Alzamora Group, is satisfied with both machines, since innovation in both brands is advancing rapidly in terms of sustainability. It underlines that, thanks to "green technology", its energy consumption will be greatly reduced, in accordance with European regulations.

Specifically, the Heildelberg XL 106 printer is requirements in the quality management ISO 9001. and the norm of environmental management ISO 14001., thus guaranteeing the development of sustainable production and a reduction in CO2 emissions. With this new printer, Alzamora Group can print up to 18.000 sheets per hour, improving production, but consuming less. In addition to the double quality control offered by the machine: a rigorous review of the customer's original document, using 4K cameras, together with an exact color control.

In offset printing and die cutting, Alzamora Group has strengthened its offer, having six printers and nine die cutting machines throughout the group, including Novotype, its headquarters in Portugal.
