APPE, the packaging division of La Seda de Barcelona (LSB) and a European leader in rigid plastic packaging solutions targeting a wide range of end markets, will build a new plant in Poland that will supply emerging markets in Eastern Europe. It will be located in Katowice, in the south of the country, and its cost will be 15 million euros.
The new facilities will offer the full range of APPE services, including its manufactured and semi-finished products and its advanced technologies such as Heat Set, DeepGripR, barrier treatments, bespoke packaging designs and the ability to provide a direct comprehensive supply in the same facilities of customer, which reduces transport and logistics costs.
