Color Code PCR

Aptar Beauty has launched a new plastic fragrance pump made from post-consumer recycled resin. Color Code PCR It is the first pump on the market to include up to 67% mechanical PCR Plus material without compromising customization options or aesthetics.

By integrating 67%* of the mechanical PCR Plus content during manufacturing, Aptar reduces product CO2 emissions by up to -39% compared to the version using conventional resin. This percentage has been verified through a comprehensive life cycle analysis (LCA) of raw materials using Aptar's internal eco-design tool. By choosing Color Code PCR instead of a conventional plastic equivalent, brands can reduce their Scope 3 carbon emissions while benefiting from a ready-to-use PCR content declaration.

The use of recycled material underlines the strong commitment of Aptar Beauty with circularity. As a member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Circular Economy 100 (CE100) Network, Aptar has signed the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment to address plastic waste and determine new ways to design waste and conserve products and materials in use.

At the end of its useful life, the Color Code PCR Fragrance Pump can be recycled along with the bottle in the glass waste stream.

The pressure pump made in Italy dispenses a dose of 80ml per injection. Color Code PCR is fully customizable for branding designs thanks to the versatility of the plastic, allowing for a wide variety of colors in a glossy finish.

Recently, Aptar Beauty introduced a new generation dropper, NeoDropper, to improve user experience in high-precision skin care.
