Arjowiggins Graphic, official partner of the COP21 climate change conference

Arjowiggins Graphic It is an official partner of the Summit on Climate Change (COP21) that is being held in Paris from November 30 to December 11 of this year.

 

 

As an official partner of the event, Arjowiggins Graphic aims to promote and develop the use of paper recycling. The company pioneered eco-responsible paper solutions complying with the principles of the Circular Economy and significantly reducing the environmental impact of paper production. 

Arjowiggins Graphic, in collaboration with La Poste, provides a direct demonstration of this approach at the event by making 4.000.000 sheets of 100% recycled A4-size paper available to negotiators and attendees. At the end of the COP21, La Poste will collect and sort the used paper and transport it directly to the Arjowiggins Graphic factory in Greenfield, which is only 100 kilometers away, where the used paper will be deinked and processed into extra paper pulp. White. This pulp will be turned into reams of high quality white office paper at the Le Bourray paper mill.

In addition to the COP21 negotiations, Arjowiggins Graphic is also an Official Partner of the COP21 Solutions exhibition, which is open to the general public and showcases environmental impacts and solutions to climate change. This exhibition takes place in Paris from December 4 to 10, 2015. Information boards are used to show recycled paper and the circular economy. In collaboration with La Poste, Arjowiggins Graphic also hosts various educational workshops.
