The Spanish Association of Biodegradable-Compostable Plastics (AsoBioCom), in operation since November 2011, brings together manufacturers of raw materials such as Basf, Natureworks, Fkur, Novamont and the Biotec Group, and transformers such as Sphere Gropu, Hugtamaki, Coopbox Hispania, Nupik and IBC. Its priority will be to promote and improve the biodegradable and compostable plastics industry, and act in defense of the interests of the sector and on behalf of its associates. AsoBioCom will invest in selective collection to improve the complexity in the separation of products and improve the quality of the compost made from these materials.
