The fifth edition of the Aspack Carton Value Chain Forum is already underway. The event will be held on October 28 virtually and will focus on sustainability applied to packaging.
El ASPACK Carton Value Chain Forum It is an event that involves all the agents that are part of our sector: from suppliers of machinery and materials to consumers, through manufacturers of cardboard packaging and their direct clients from the food, cosmetic, perfumery and pharmacy industries.
This fifth edition is presented under the title: Renewable, recyclable, biodegradable, compostable OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR THE FUTURE, and will analyze the possibilities of cardboard packaging in the face of the new packaging legislation as well as its projection in the market until 2025, the main challenges of the perfumery and cosmetics industry and its priority objectives as well as the future prospects in the circular economy of the food and beverage industry, taking into account the cardboard packaging as the main material.
This year's program consists of a presentation by Pablo Serrano, General Secretary of Aspack about the cardboard packaging sector as an alternative to plastic, projections until 2025. Following a presentation by Lucia Jimenez, Responsible for Sustainability and Standardization and Susana Arranz, International and Innovation Director STANPA on Current challenges in packaging in the cosmetics and perfumery sector. Also from Aspack the award will be delivered Procarton / Aspack Young Designers Award 2021 and there will be an opportunity to ask several questions about the winning project.
