Positive balance of Graphispag 2019

With approximately 380 brands, 200 direct exhibitors and more than 22.000 professional visitors, graphispag was held from March 26 to 29 in Barcelona, showing digitization, personalization and graphic design as the main axes of transformation of the graphic industry and visual communication.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with Graphispack Association, this benchmark show in Spain for the graphic industry and visual communication, hosted leading brands such as HP, Roland DG, Epson, Heidelberg Spain, Konica Minolta, Digidelta, Agfa, Soficat-Xerox, Jusa, OPQ Systems-Horizon, Emiliano Martin, Koenig & Bauer Lauvic, Esko, Ipagsa and Unión Papelera, among others. In addition to Spain, it featured exhibitors from Germany, Belgium, China, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Finland and Sweden.
Graphispag 2019 focused on three axes: digitization, customization of any object, material or surface, and design. The first major area was the Graphispag Experience, in which there was a working reproduction of Gutenberg's printing press, demonstrations of hand lettering and sessions of artisan calligraphy, creation of neon signs, but also examples of 3D, holograms and virtual reality.
The second was Graphispag Process, a demonstration area for complete graphic production processes where two production lines were launched: one for packaging printing and the other for large-format printing.
Graphispag Print Innovation was an area coordinated by the 3Neo Platform and the Cluster Functional Print of Navarra in which there were demonstrations of functional printing, printed electronics, bio-printing and 3D printing.
Graphispag also had an area dedicated to personalization in which visitors saw how to create unique objects from digital printing. At the same time, a space on vehicle wrapping and interior decoration was launched with daily demonstrations by the GAWI Gremio Aplicadores Wrapping Iberia.

Conferences and Workshops
Within the Graphispag Talks program, more than 40 conferences and round tables were held with the participation of experts, with topics such as sustainability, business development and productivity management with greater digitization will be the main topics of this anus.
Likewise, Graphispag 2019 hosted Grada & CongrésGràfic, a new event organized together with the College of Graphic Designers of Catalonia, which included conferences, workshops and an exhibition area on disciplines that have their form of expression in the image and that represent the origin of the graphic product. It had the participation of a score of experts in design, infographics, illustration, concept art, packaging, urban scketching or typography, among other specialties. Julius Wiedermann, editor of Taschen; Félix Beltrán, creator of the iconic image of Che Guevara; Fernando G. Baptista, infographer for National Geographic; Gabriel Campanario, founder of the urban sketcher movement or Martina Paukova, illustrator who works for Ikea or Google, were some of the speakers.
Finally, Graphispag Village was the space for networking. The Líderpack Awards for Container, Packaging and POS, the gaudeamusPROJECTA Awards were also presented and an act of recognition of Graphispag to companies, entities and people linked to the sector was held.
