The week of September 17-21, Barcelona will host international events for the Cradle to Cradle community. On September 19, BCD Barcelona Design Center launches the initiative Hula Hoop Experience - The Circular Design Experience, which brings together various actions around the circular economy and design. Coinciding with this, Eco Intelligent Growth (EIG) with the collaboration of the Cradle to Cradle® Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII) and BCD, joins the initiative and organizes for the first time in Barcelona, a conference focused on the circular economy.
The 'Hula Hoop Experience' day will begin with 3 workshops open to industry and design professionals. The workshops will work on the application of the criteria of the Cradle to Cradle Certified ™ program for the design of products and systems in circular economy. They will be developed on 3 axes: Fashion, Construction and Packaging, and will work on real cases of application of the C2C® criteria. And in the afternoon, and organized by BCD, the Hula Hoop Space will start, a meeting place for circular projects and initiatives.
BCD Barcelona Design Center joins the Service Design Days 2018
BCD has reached an agreement with the organizers of the Service Design Days event by which it joins the organization of the 2018 edition that will be held on October 5 and 6 at the Disseny Hub Barcelona, BCD headquarters. The objectives and themes of the event fully coincide with BCD's strategy and reinforce the capital of Barcelona in the field of design. In recent years we have seen how design thinking has been gaining followers in the business sector, and something that seemed only reserved for the design sector is now a shared strategy between marketing, design and innovation departments, and the theme of various seminars and conferences business.
