"Bokken" by Antoni Aparicio, winner of the Verallia Glass and Creation Contest

This year

This year, the Verallia Glass and Creation Contest had spirits as its theme. Of the 45 works submitted to the contest, "Bokken" by Antoni Aparicio, a student at the Andalusian School of Design and Art (ESADA) de Granada was the winner with € 2.300.

"Bokken" is a bottle of Japanese whiskey inspired by Mount Fuji and the culture of the Japanese country. This is the redesign of the typical square bottle that is endowed with dynamic lines that highlight the origin of the product. A multidisciplinary jury led by Xavier Cuxart, creative director of Morillas, selected the finalist works at a meeting in Madrid. Among the jury were representatives of companies in the sector such as Maxxium, MG Distilleries, Disaronno or Williams & Humbert as well as executives from Verallia Spain.
