Following the Murano line designed for lip glosses and mascaras, Bormioli Luigi expands its glass makeup collection with Swinga whirlpool bath, glass lipstick, refillable, recyclable and fully customizable.
Launched in 2023, Bormioli Luigi's makeup collection highlights the advantages of a premium, recyclable material. Playing with thinness and transparency, Swing evokes the lightness and elegance of a luxury product that refills with a single touch and whose components are easily separated for recycling.
Presented at the recent Luxe Pack trade show in Monaco, Swing features a narrower cross-section than the previous version, giving it a more modern look. Its thin walls and significantly reduced glass content allow for up to 15% PCR (post-consumer recycled content). For functional reasons, the removable center ring is made of plastic. However, it can be made with different recyclable materials, maintaining the same mechanical strength and click closure. By removing this ring, it is easy to separate it from the other components for recycling.
Available in red, black or silver, Swing lends itself to all types of customization: interior or exterior lacquers, metallic effects, sputtering, screen printing, metallization, varnishes, enamels... The central ring can also be customized in color and decoration to give the product and its refill a complete identity.
