Cartonplast Ibérica delivers its II Sustainability Awards

Iberian Cartonplast, a pioneering company in the management of reusable transport packaging, announces the call for its II Sustainability Awards, which will be delivered in Madrid on October 27. With these awards, the company seeks to value and give visibility, for the second consecutive year, to the companies in its sector that contribute the most to generating a positive impact on the environment.

“After a magnificent reception by the sector in the first call for our awards, we remain convinced that respectful and caring practices for the environment must be, in addition to an important part of the strategy of companies in general, the basis of the evolution and transformation of the logistics sector and packaging in particular. Cartonplast has always been committed to providing the best service to the supply chain of the food packaging industry (glass, beverage cans and PET), and to the Sustainability of the entire sector, with the Circular Economy, Recycling and Innovation. Technological as axes of its activity.

The company will award three prizes in the following categories:

Sustainability for large bottlers of Beverages (Beer)

Sustainability for large beverage bottlers (Multiproduct)

Sustainability for Food and Beverage Packaging Manufacturers.

The jury, made up of associations, independent companies and Cartonplast, will take into account the scope and implementation of good practices in the use of plastic interlayers and pallets, as well as their value in reducing the environmental impact within the supply chain.

The winners last year were Heineken, Hero and Suntory Beverage and Food Spain, in the category of Good Practices in the Use of Cartonplast Intercalators, while ANFEVI (Association of Glassmakers of Spain), received the award for the best Innovative Solution for the Sustainability for the Oven of the Future (F4F) project.
