Comexi, a specialist in machinery solutions for the flexible packaging converting industry, and VIV, a leading flexible packaging company in the Netherlands, have signed an agreement to acquire a new flexo printer F2MC ten colors. The agreement has materialized within the framework of the K fair in Düsseldorf (Germany).

With this acquisition, Viv reinforces its position in the Dutch flexible packaging sector with Comexi's innovative solutions. It represents Comexi's third printer for VIV and increases its printing and production capacity.

Comexi CEO, Jeroen van der Meer, was very satisfied with the agreement and stressed that "after a long history in common, this new facility will allow us to continue to strengthen the fruitful collaboration between the two companies". For their part, Herman van Kesteren and Weinand van Kesteren highlighted the combined efforts between the two companies and the synergies resulting from the agreement. In addition to Comexi printers, VIV also has the group's laminators at its plant.

The Comexi F2MC ten color flexographic printer has been designed to meet the needs of medium and long run printing in the flexible packaging sector for the retail and wholesale channel. It shares the advances in ergonomics and accessibility developed in the F4 and F2 machines, as well as the performance and robustness of the rest of the F2 range. The Comexi F2MC is offered in print widths from 870mm to 1270mm, 8-color and 10-color, and with print ranges up to 800mm. It includes the most advanced electronic systems to achieve the best printing qualities even at high speeds and printing on different substrates from plastic film to paper or laminates.
