Stora Enso and Aalto University in Finland announce the call for the Recreate Packaging 2014 design contest, aimed at packaging designers around the world, both professionals and design students. The goal is to create new packaging solutions for travel products with renewable materials.
The submission period for Recreate Packaging 2014 began on September 2 and will end on January 31, 2014. The contest rules are available on its website: www.recreatepackaging.com.
Participants must select three health or beauty products that are essential when traveling, and give an original air to their packaging solutions.
Through this competition, Stora Enso wants to encourage designers to rethink packaging and become familiar with renewable fiber-based materials. The prizes (the first, with an amount of € 8.000) are another incentive.
