At XIX Breakfast of the Cluster of Innovation in Container and Packaging, isaval, company specialized in the manufacture of paints, looked for an ally to solve the flaws with which it finds itself in the transport and logistics of its paint containers. This XIX breakfast has been sponsored by irisem, a Valencian company specializing in pigments, additives and chemical colorants.
According to the director of the Isaval Supply Chain, Juan Carlos Núñez, "we find breakage of the containers and sometimes, due to heat, cold or stress to which the film is subjected, the complete deterioration of the product". The company highlighted the need to find a removable and reusable packaging to store the felt rolls at its logistics headquarters.
During the XIX breakfast of the Cluster, attended by more than 35 companies in the sector, attendees were able to listen to the reflections of Josep Isart, Iberia Packaging Sales Account Manager of HP Indigo.

Meeting of the Packaging Cluster with the Packaging Innovation Cluster
The conference, held in Barcelona, has allowed the exchange of experiences and information. The representatives of the Container and Packaging Cluster have held meetings with the Packaging Cluster and Beauty for the search for synergies and joint projects that may arise from this inter-cluster meeting. Six more Valencian clusters also participated.
Throughout the day, both the measures carried out by the General Directorate of the Institut Valencià de Competitivitat Empresarial (IVACE) and the ACCIÓ cluster dynamization agency of the Generalitat de Catalunya were explained.
New president of the Cluster
Recently, during the celebration of its Extraordinary General Assembly, the Packaging Innovation Cluster elected the new Governing Council of the entity. Francisco Ortega, CEO of DS Smith Tecnicarton, handed over the presidency to José Orbe, corporate director of Business Development of Grupo Hinojosa. Likewise, the Packaging Innovation Cluster has a new partner: the international transport company, Milestone Logistics.
