studio h has created the new packaging design for Doves Farm organic flour. The challenge was to increase its presence on the shelves against the competition, while preserving the brand's artisan essence and ethical values.
Studio h has simplified the packaging architecture by reducing the amount of copying and changing the logo to one color. Continuing the Doves Farm tradition of illustrated packaging, these have been created in an informal cookbook style, showing the cooking process of a recipe on the back of the packaging. They intentionally display slightly imperfect baking to encourage everyone that cooking is easy and it doesn't matter if the end result doesn't look perfect. They have also been designed in a practical way with the basic printing process in mind, where imperfections add to the feeling of craftsmanship.
