Durero Packaging has allocated seven million euros to modernize its factory in Montornés del Vallés. The company, controlled by the French group Autajon, is dedicated to the design and production of packaging for perfumery, cosmetics and pharmacy.
The new machinery of the plant will increase the production capacity of the center by 15% and the hiring of 30 workers, approximately. Durero Packaging today employs 200 people.
The investment, which has been advised by the Government through Invest in Catalonia, has allowed the factory to expand to 18.000 square meters of surface.
Durero Packaging closed 2012 with a turnover of 26,68 million euros, half a million more than the previous year, according to the latest data available in the Mercantile Registry. 40% of the production is marketed outside of Spain.
