The organization released these figures during its General Assembly, held at Caseta Nova Events, in Castalla (Alicante ), where the organization's growth and evolution over the past year were also reviewed. In this regard, the Cluster has exceeded €389.000 in revenue in 2025, representing a 15,1% increase compared to the previous year.

In addition, the organization maintains a growing activity with more than thirty actions per year, including business meetings, workshops, sector dialogues, breakfasts and networking spaces, as well as a community of more than 1000 connected professionals and the promotion of several innovation projects in the last three years.

During the Assembly, the president of the Cluster, Amaya Fernandez, has highlighted that “One of the main purposes of the Cluster is to stand by companies when the environment becomes more complex, to provide vision when there is uncertainty, and to turn information into a tool for competitiveness.".

The event also served to contextualize the scale of a strategic industry for the Valencian Community. Currently, the packaging sector has 410 active companies, generates a turnover of 5.800 million euros and represents 13,8% of industrial GDP y 2,4% of the total regional GDP.

In this vein, the Cluster has reaffirmed its role as a space for connection and support for companies in a context marked by geopolitical uncertainty, energy volatility, commodity price tensions, and logistical challenges. These factors directly impact business planning, costs, and competitiveness.

Given this scenario, the organization has argued that anticipation, cooperation, and access to shared knowledge will be key to strengthening the sector's resilience. In a sector like ours, connectivity is not an added value, but a necessity.“,” Fernández emphasized.

With a social base that integrates companies of raw materials and components, machinery and technology, plastics, paper and cardboard, specialized solutions, brands, end users, expert network and technological innovation, the organization works on three major strategic pillars: networking, innovation and knowledge.

Three lines of action aimed at connecting the entire value chain, promoting collaborative projects and providing useful information on legislation, markets and trends that helps companies make more informed decisions.

Among the organization's outstanding initiatives, the Cluster has highlighted the National Packaging and Packaging Design and Sustainability Awards, which connect leading companies in the sector with young talent from universities and design schools throughout Spain.

It is worth noting that the Assembly has had the collaboration of Termoformas, Grupo La Plana, Eurobox of Groupe Massilly and Boix Maquinaria.
