The Suntory group has launched the new La Casera® Aperitifs: Vermouth and Cider

El Technological Center of Tordera (Barcelona), the largest research center that the suntory group in Europe, launches new La Casera® Cider and Vermouth Appetizers, two innovations that have been developed entirely in Spain and in which the company has been working for more than two years, They are a clear commitment within the low graduation for Suntory Beverage & Food Spain (SBFS). In fact, the European subsidiary is allocating an investment of more than 7 million euros in the development and implementation in the market of this category of products.

“Our R&D center has the latest technology for the development of our products. In recent years, an investment of close to 8 million euros has been made to create a new laboratory for sensory, physicochemical and microbiological analysis, our own packaging department and a pilot plant for products with and without carbonation that we use to make our market studies”, says Veronica Cortes, R&D director of Suntory Beverage & Food Spain.

The center belongs to Suntory Beverage & Food Europe since 2009, but since its inception it has been closely linked to the group's activity, being the promoter in the development of soft drinks. In it are 40 of the more than 120 researchers who are part of the European R&D team of the Suntory group, who have been part of the development of the new launches of La Casera®.

“The new Cider and Vermouth Appetizers from La Casera® are a perfect alternative for all those consumers who are looking for new low-alcohol proposals, designed to enjoy those moments of socializing with friends through easier and fruitier flavors that form It is already part of our gastronomic culture”, comments Alejandro Fuente, Head of Marketing at La Casera®. And he adds "this proposal comes to consolidate our range in the low alcohol content, maintaining the DNA and the mixing experience of La Casera®"
