The Packaging Cluster Training Commission, together with the Barcelona Institute of Packaging (BIP), present the Professional Accreditation of Expert in Packaging, PEA Packaging, an online training program with the syllabus accredited by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, aimed at professionals who already have proven skills in any of the packaging specialties or who want to enter its entire value chain to obtain a broader vision and better understand market needs.
The program is aimed at professionals active in the packaging industry interested in obtaining recognition for their trajectory and experience, engineers, technologists and managers of the sector, as well as professionals from related sectors who wish to redirect their careers towards the packaging industry.
Professionals with proven and proven experience of more than 6 years in any sector of the packaging industry can access the PEA Packaging Program, in positions of Design, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Supply, Quality or Logistics, as well as university graduates with more than 1 year of professional experience and technicians of Professional Training of Middle or Higher Degree with 2 years of experience in the sector.
The course follows a structure based on the fundamental concepts of packaging focused by specialty. It is also supported by a practical part where real cases are presented to consolidate the theoretical concepts. Each specialty has its own structure defined in the teaching material provided by the Packaging Cluster. Each candidate will have a tutor assigned by the Cluster Training Commission. The modality of the course is non-face-to-face, and its monitoring is carried out remotely with the help of didactic material and a tutor.
The Packaging Cluster will issue the accreditation of 'Professional Expert in Packaging, PEA Packaging' to those candidates who have satisfactorily passed the evaluation tests, either through a written exam or through a face-to-face session with the assigned tutor.
