With over 30 years of experience in certifying design and packaging excellence standards, the Foundation International verdicts convenes again the World Best Packaging award to open it up to the entire profession.
Design and packaging production projects completed in 2025 and 2026 worldwide are eligible for submission. The registration period ends on June 5, 2026.
The categories are organized into sections to give greater importance to each one, as they are key factors in packaging design. The CONTENT categories are based on the type of contents the package holds: beverages, food, products, perfumes, etc. The MATERIAL categories are based on the material from which the packaging is made, such as cardboard, glass, plastic, metal, and others. The categories based on USER EXPERIENCE refer to the use of the packaging, the "unboxing" experience as something relevant beyond simply containing a product, innovation, technical solutions, and so on.
A key factor for participants is ensuring maximum exposure for the excellence of the award-winning and recognized works. For Veredictas, “exposure is the best reward for an author.”
Veredictas' reversible participation system showcases the capabilities of professional participants in two ways. Firstly, through the excellence of their packaging design, and secondly, by contributing their expertise to the evaluation of the other entries. In the first phase, the participants themselves evaluate and vote on the entries competing against their own designs. In the second voting phase, the master jury selects the winner in each category. Veredictas audits the voting process.
