Seripafer Group held a breakfast meeting on April 23 in Valencia about Creativity applied to packaging at the La Salita restaurant, which brought together more than 60 attendees from companies such as Cecotec, EDEM, Fedrigoni, Germaine de Capuccini, Lavernia & Cienfuegos, Mercadona, Miniland, RNB, Grefusa or Lladró, among others. The day included a presentation by Juan Mantilla, Global Head of Creative at KIKO Milano, who shared his vision on the strategic role of design in brand building.
During her presentation, Mantilla emphasized that packaging design transcends aesthetics to become a strategic decision with a direct impact on perceived value and purchasing decisions, especially in secondary packaging. She also highlighted the importance of collaboration between designers, industry, and suppliers throughout the entire process, as well as the crucial role of materials and finishes. Regarding the current context, she noted that tools like artificial intelligence can improve efficiency, but they do not replace creative thinking.
The meeting is part of a series of initiatives promoted by the Seripafer Group to foster knowledge exchange among industry professionals. The company, a manufacturer of packaging, point-of-sale (POS), and merchandising solutions, manages the entire production process from development to final delivery, combining technical expertise, creativity, and industrial capacity.
This event is part of the calendar of activities commemorating the 40th anniversary of Grupo Seripafer, a milestone in which the company seeks to highlight its history, the role of its team, and its vision for the future. The initiative follows similar gatherings held in other cities, establishing a forum for reflection on packaging as a key tool in brand strategy.
