United Caps, international manufacturer of caps and closures, hosted an event at its Hungarian plant on November 30 to celebrate the manufacturing of its 10 billionth closure this year, specifically the innovative closure double flow for edible oils. It is the first time in the history of the company that there have been 10 billion closures in a 12-month period.
Located in Dunavarsány (Hungary), the plant specializes in the production of caps and closures for edible oils and beverages. In accordance with United Caps 'Close to you' strategy to bring operations closer to the customer, the Dunavarsány plant is the company's gateway to Eastern Europe. It serves several well-known brands in the region, including the Polish oil brand Wielkopolski from the Princes Group, one of the fastest growing food and beverage groups in Europe. United Caps continues to invest in the Hungarian plant, where a new manufacturing line is being built.
The event featured talks by the CEO, Benoit Henckes, and the director of the Dunavarsány plant, Szabolcs Szili.
