Successful attendance at the XXII Congress of AIFEC

After a period of 2 years of online meetings, more than 225 attendees gathered at the Melia Villaitana Hotel in Benidorm, to attend the XXII Congress of AIFEC, with the title: “New forms, new times, new opportunities”.

The program offered 8 technical sessions carried out by the sponsors: AB Graphic, Fedrigoni, Xeikon, Esagraf, HP, E21, Bost and Martin Automatic; and 4 presentations organized by AIFEC. Jules LeJeune, Director of the FINAT, presented the guidelines and the main data of the label sector from the European association, placing Spain in the center. Fernando BottleCEO Think&Action, provided a fun, motivational experience, with a lot of content and useful techniques to take on a day-to-day basis with his presentation "Together we make the future", sponsored by UPM Raflatac. Alberto Salviejo de ISDI answered the questions: How to incorporate technology into the relationship with customers, suppliers and employees? How to monetize investments in digitization and improve sales and internal efficiency? How to mobilize our organization in the digital age? He also advised how to achieve a transition towards the digitization of companies in the sector. Y Sarah Escudero addressed the keys to help incorporate a sense of humor as a vital attitude and to the world of work.

Also held was the General Assemblyl, in which the current situation of the association was discussed, projects that are being carried out and it was decided by majority vote that the next AIFEC Congress be held in Marrakech in 2023.

As usual, the supplier tables served as a meeting point for networking and rekindling business relationships. For the first time, a Networking Day was also organized, which consisted of bringing together all the congressmen and their companions in an activity called the Spy Game, where several teams had to work together and united to pass tests and discover the threat that could put an end to the label industry and combat it.

A new mobile application helped facilitate the exchange of messages, contacts, dissemination of documentation and information on the Congress. It was possible to carry out the satisfaction questionnaire directly from the App and the public was also able to vote for the Best Labels of the year through it. The Awards were presented at the Award Ceremony for the Best Labels of 2022 and the winners were chosen by decision of the jury and the public vote. This year's jury was made up of: Jordi Cañadas from Fedrigoni, Miguel Ivañez from Adhesivas Ibi, Raúl Pérez from Durst and Santiago Villellas from Santilabel.
