FaiveleyTech introduces Sulapac Solid with YOM Beauty

The Beauty Business Unit of FaiveleyTech has signed an industrial alliance with the pioneering brand YOM Beauty, for which he has created the lid and spatula in Sulapac Solid material.

To bring YOM Beauty's vision to life, FaiveleyTech's Beauty Business Unit leveraged its expertise in transforming bio-based materials. This approach led to the development of The Pebble's top, a premium cap with a shape inspired by Irish wishing stones, whose organic design offers a natural and comfortable feel in the palm of the hand. The Orgelet teams were responsible for the overall technical challenge of the closure and application system, developing both the cap and the spatula.

The development, fine-tuning, and qualification were completed in a very short time, without compromising quality.

For the first time, FaiveleyTech introduces Sulapac Solid in the beauty sector. Used here in its natural, colorless form, it reveals distinctive pearlescent finishes that meet the aesthetic standards of the luxury industry. Made with bio-based polymers and mineral fillers, it has a ceramic-like texture, is PFAS-free, and biodegradable without leaving microplastic residue.

In addition, FaiveleyTech is developing, for the first time, a seal made from Sulapac material. Assembled without adhesives or PE or PP layers, the lid features a single-material structure designed to facilitate its recovery as bio-based material recycling streams develop.

YOM Beauty is the first LipSafe lip care brand, the new standard that requires every ingredient to be cosmetic grade for the skin and food grade to ensure its safety during transport, and where every formula is independently certified as free of microplastics.
