The lightweight cardboard used in the calendar supports the circular economy and reduces waste. Thanks to its lightweight and resource-efficient design, the carbon footprint of the calendar board is also a quarter smaller than the previous one.

The material change for the Christmas calendar is part of Fazer's responsible packaging program, which consists of three elements: reducing the amount of packaging materials used, developing entirely new types of greener packaging solutions, and improving recyclability. of the packaging," says Piia Soininen-Tengvall, Director of Packaging Development at Fazer.
