Fedrigoni acquires the Spanish company Divipa

El grupo Fedrigoni has acquired Divide, a Spanish company that develops, produces and distributes self-adhesive materials.

Divipa was founded in 1971 by the Álvaro family, which has transferred 100% of the capital to Fedrigoni, but continues in the management team with some of its members. Headquartered in Derio, a few kilometers from Bilbao, it has an estimated sales volume in 2021 of 24 million euros and fifty employees.

With this acquisition, the fifth in two years in the self-adhesive sector, after the Italian Ritrama, the Mexican IP Venus and Ri-Mark and the American Acucote, the group further strengthens its position as the third world figure in relation to materials self-adhesive, operating through numerous brands such as Arconvert, Manter and Ritrama. Fedrigoni is one of the leading producers of wine labels and plays a leading role in high-tech self-adhesive labels and films for the food, pharmaceutical, automotive, personal and home care industries, etc.

In the last two years we have not gone back a step to carry out our strategic plan: expand the offer in attractive segments and expand the global presence, including through selective acquisitions, to have a direct presence in all the main geographic markets. . We welcome our colleagues from Divipa, who join our 4000 people.”

The agreement has also been welcomed by Jaime Alvaro Alvaro, founder of Divipa: «The Fedrigoni group is a solid industrial company that is expanding internationally, with ambitious development goals: I am pleased that my company and my staff are joining it, I am confident that we will find the right ground to grow and consolidate significantly in the coming years".
