Frit ravich, a food company specialized in the production of potatoes, snacks and nuts, and Enrique Tomás, world leader in Iberian ham, launch the new Chips Premium Iberian Ham Enrique Tomás.
Designed especially for all those who like to try new flavors, these Premium Chips began to take shape two years ago, when Frit Ravich considered making the potato with the ideal Iberian ham flavor. To make the new potatoes, different tastings have been carried out with the R&D and quality teams of Frit Ravich and Enrique Tomás, testing and regulating the flavor and aromas.
The new chips respond to the constant increase in innovation in food products with ham aromas that has taken place in Spain in recent years - an increase of 11,8% since 2015 and 18,6% in the last year -, positioning it as a leading aroma in innovative products.
The Enrique Tomás Iberico Ham Premium Chips, which are suitable for vegetarians, Halal and Kosher, will be available for the moment in the feed and impulse channel in 155gr format. The new potatoes will be distributed in the 20 countries where Frit Ravich exports its products.
The range of Frit Ravich Premium Chips was launched in 2011 with the aim of expanding the artisan Premium market segment. Currently, thanks to its commitment to innovation, this range has grown by 30,9% in 2020, according to data from IRi, a big data company and analysis of consumption growth.
With the launch of the new variety, Frit Ravich expands its range of Flavored Premium Chips, becoming the company with more varieties available within this category, a total of 5: Premium Salt Chips, Appetizer Flavor Sauce, Goat Cheese and Onion Flavor Caramelised, Sirloin Flavor with Pedro Ximénez Reduction and the new Enrique Tomás Iberian Ham.
