Gabriel Virto continues as president of Fespa Spain

The General Assembly of Fespa Spain elected its new Board of Directors for the next four years.
Gabriel Virtus, manager of Iruña Comunicación Textil, revalidates his position as president of Fespa Spain. Pablo Serrano, director of Kolokio International, continues in the position of general secretary. The vice president of the association is Jesús Durá, manager of Vinylcolor Digital.
The president of Fespa Internacional, Christian Duyckaerts, congratulated Gabriel Virto and the members of the Board of Directors in person.
In his speech at the subsequent press conference, Gabriel Virto also presented the 2018 activity report. “Our sector currently has more than 2.200 companies in Spain, directly employs more than 11.500 people and generates a turnover of 1.000 million euros, "he said.
Digital technology is the predominant in terms of printing techniques, representing almost 59% of the total, followed by screen printing with 16%, offset with 14%, pad printing with 9% and flexography with 2%.

Ramón Sayans Awards 

El Lappí Group He won the IV Ramón Sayans Awards for his work Woodseries, a wine label awarded for its originality and for successfully combining different printing techniques.
Best Rigid Digital Print Award went to Ability for their Sylvanian Families booth. Sericum won the award for best 3D printing with his work Guardians of the Galaxy. The award for the best digital printing on flexible support went to Kendu In Store Visual Solutions, for his work Double or Nothing. Molcaworld won the award for best textile printing with the work Textile Column. Lastly, the special jury award for an entrepreneurial company went to Adivin Banderas.
